Off-licence crawls: The new way to socialise

Alcohol consumption has risen by 22% due to lockdown restrictions, according to Drinkaware.
As social points like bars and restaurants remain shut, people have been turning to alcohol as something to do and a way to cope with stress.
‘Off-licence crawls’ have become popular on the social media platform, TikTok. The trend involves walking to multiple shops to buy alcohol, and then drinking on the go.
