Winter Wonderland is back
Kickstart your weekend with a trip to London’s biggest Christmas event, opening today at 5. From the 21st of November until the 4th of January, Hyde park (the main entrance being Marble Arch) hosts London’s most renowned Christmas market, which also includes an ice rink, a Christmas circus, Santa’s Grotto and rides.
Winter Wonderland is every Londoner’s go-to place to feel Christmassy and it’s an event you can’t miss if you’re in town. Once it’s started, everyone knows the season to be jolly is officially on.

The Christmas market on its own sells mostly handmade pieces and gift ideas, but if you’re more interested in eating and drinking, there’s plenty of Bavarian-style cafes and pubs. Although the entrance to Winter Wonderland is free, eating and drinking there isn’t cheap, but Christmas only comes once, right?!
Even if you’re only going for a walk, it’s a great way to get you in the festive mood. Make sure you buy tickets for the attractions in advance in order to avoid long queues.
